Dr. Dindo Campilan manages IUCN’s Asia and Oceania regional hub, which serves 48 countries through a network of 15 offices and 300+ staff members. He leads IUCN’s regional portfolio of collaborative projects and activities providing science-based knowledge, tools, and solutions for the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. IUCN (www.iucn.org) is the world’s largest, oldest, and most diverse environment organization. 
Earlier he worked with United Nations agencies and CGIAR international research centers – from Latin America to Asia — in agriculture, food and environment research and development. He served as Asia regional director for the International Center for Tropical Agriculture/Centro Internacional de Agricultura Tropical (CIAT) and as manager/chief technical adviser on sustainable enterprises for the International Labour Organization (ILO).
Dr. Campilan holds a PhD in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University in The Netherlands.
